Park Han Byul, “As compared to myself, Se7en does more aegyo”

Talent Park Han Byul revealed that her boyfriend singer Se7en does more aegyo (act cute) than herself.

She revealed on KBS Entertainment Weekly on 13th June, “I don’t call him by ‘dear’ or ‘darling’ because it is just not my character to do so. So on the phone, I normally call him by ‘yaa’.”

She added, “Instead Se7en has more aegyo than me”. And about their 7 years late reveal of their love relationship, she said, “We are so sorry for acknowledging it. But until now it still doesn’t feel real to me. To be in an interview like this talking about my relationship with Se7en has been my dream.”

Se7en finally admitting to love relationship with Park Han Byul

Singer Se7en has finally admitted his love relationship with actress Park Han Byul.

He wrote a post on his minihompy on the 10th with the title “I’ll reveal everything” talking about his relationship with Park Han Byul. All this while, the 2 had time-after-time denied their love relationship.

Han’s friends said, “Se7en has revealed the truth about the 2’s love relationship, he was saying everything from his heart. It was pressurising being together as lovers like that. And fans were putting HanByul at a difficult position, and in order to protect her private life, they have decided to come clean with it. With revealing their love relationship, they felt more at ease now.”

YG Entertainment also said on a phone interview, “Se7en has been thinking about to reveal the truth or not for a long while, it was hard on him. He had a talk with Yang HyunSeok on 9th June morning, and they have decided to reveal the truth after all. They thought not only their own stand, they also took in consideration Park HanByul’s stand in this case.”

Se7en on BET

Se7en’s video Girls is gonna be aired on BET’s “106 and Park”.

Se7en will be co-managed (with RQM) by Johnny Wright. He managed New Kids on teh Block, Nsync and Backstreet Boys.

Se7en and Park Han Byul’s couple photo leaked?

All this while having insisting their love relationship is just rumours, supposedly couple photos of singer Se7en and actress Park Han Byul has surfaced online.

These new photos are here yet to prove that the 2 are in a love relationship despite their denial so. The photo, showing Se7en and Park doing face mask and posing intimately together, surfaced online on 10th May and are circulated rapidly online. Se7en was also seen naked on top.

Written on the photo are, “20080330 “W” Happy 6th anniversary”. The photo was supposedly taken last year and state that the 2 have been in a 6-year relationship.

The photo also matched the ones posted up on Park’s minihompy. Some netizens suggested that the photo may have been composite photo.

YG has also state their stand that their singer Se7en’s relationship with Park is “nothing more than just friends”.

Se7en Temporarily Back In Korea But “No Official Activities” Yet

The singer Se7en, who is in the process of advancing into the United States market, returned to Korea on the 7th.

YG Entertainment confirmed on the 8th that Se7en came back temporarily. It was revealed that Se7en would not be doing any kind of official activity during his stay in Korea. According to a representative, Se7en did not inform anyone of returning home . It was a surprise for the staff and company when he came back on the 7th in the afternoon.

It was announced in 2007 that Se7en was to prepare for a breakthrough in America. The song “Girls”, produced by the famous Dark Child, made it’s debut last March. This song featured a famous female rapper well known in America. Lil Kim’s participation in his music video drew in alot of attention.

Recently the company hosted a competition to win a date with Se7en. A local fan from America won.

Se7en’s “Win-A-Date” Winner

Congrats to Kylie, the Grand Prize Winner.

I know some people were suspicious that the date was probably a set-up one, because the winner turns out to be a hot, pretty girl. However, having been working in the showbiz/TV/CF for more than 5 years now, it’s not a big surprise for me.

We all know that most of the reality shows on TV are scripted. Please note that I am not saying that the date was a scripted or set up one, I am just saying that I wouldnt be too surprised if it was.

Regardless, she is still the winner of the date (although the date was kinda lame.. and Se7en looked bored.. maybe he was expecting dinner with lots of booze?) She’s still lucky for winning the Samsung phone :)

Most Popular Singers, First Half of 2009: Big Bang & SNSD

Groups Big Bang and So Nyeo Shi Dae are the most popular singers for the first half of 2009.

A marketing research agency Leespr did a survey amongst 1,334 Koreans from age 13-65 for the whole month of March, and survey results showed that groups Big Bang and So Nyeo Shi Dae were the most popular singers for the first half of year 2009.

Male Singer Category

Big Bang who recently released their new book ‘Shouting To You In The World’ won the #1 position for the popularity in the category of male singers. They were voted as the representative male group in Korea.

The ranking:

1. Big Bang
2. Rain
3. Dong Bang Shin Ki
4. Super Junior
5. Lee Moon Sae

Others on Top 10: SS501, Jo Yong Pil, Lee Seung Chul, Kim Gun Mo, SG Wannabe.

For the female singers category, So Nyeo Shi Dae, who brought about the ‘Gee’ craz for the first half of this year, was voted #1 for top popularity.
